Always a good experience at Red Planet in Pattaya.... This was my second time here and it was very enjoyable and no problems at all.... Guest friendly, Good price and good service even without the fridge ;) Air conditioning is good and you even have a fan that you can adjust speed if air conditioner is to much for your throat. Cleaning staff is nice and you can always ask for help. Close to everything. Im very happy and appreciate the stay, and recommend this hotel strongly..... Regards Mikael

The hotel had no water for floors above 2nd for at least 5 hours. Meaning no shower, no hand washing, no toilet. The reception staff were sympathetic but all they could offer it take shower in another room and then get back to my own and wait for the water to get back. Not mentioning the fact that housekeeping staff who was supposed to take me to another room didn’t come and eventually I just used nearby massage salon for showering. Even considering the low price for the rooms, it’s hard to describe how ridiculous this is.

am a return customer as the hotel room price is the cheapest among the hotels around. But you will also aware that there is no chair , no table, no refrigerator, no bottle water, no basic amenities like tooth brush. For me, I am ok without it. However, the worst management and the most dirty room I have seen in the countries I have been traveling around. Almost 1 inches of dust everywhere, inside the safe, inside the air condition, curtains, around the wall, floors and the ceiling fans. Most of the room are very smelly because of the artificial frangance from the sanitizers and chemicals they use in the rooms and inside the building. Most of the female housekeeper are very narrow mind. They will not clean your room or give you attitudes when you ask for towels or toilet paper. The towels and the linens on the bed including the mattress cover and blanet have blood and discharge stains. Some of them are not wash well and still have the detergent allgens on them. Besides, I would very much like to suggest the level of managers, the lady who wear the teeth brace and the assist managers, Khun Biew that please keep your frustration and anger on your end when u have deal with the problems from your hotel rooms. You are not trying to accommodate the guests as what you guys are yelling for the guests in the lobby, but you should face the issues of the hotel rooms. Your rude behaviors are absolutely unacceptable. Just think how you guys talked to and responsed to the guests concerns, your responsed like, the the lade manager who wear the teeth brace questioning me that"if you know we have so many guests, so why you ask to change the rooms." We already try to accommodate you, what do you want and yelling at me on front of the guests in the lobby. Khun Biew, i was told that this is not the 1st time you are rude to the guests. Even though this is a budget hotel, but we as guests are deserved to stay in a cleanliness environment inside the room. We guests are not supposed to take your angry when we bring up the issues of the rooms, like hair dryer broken, he strong sewer smells inside the rooms, the sink is leaking, water are running absolutely slow in some rooms etc. This is the 2nd time I tried their rooms and will be the last time, too. But I would like to compliment Khun Kook the engineer, he did care about the concern of guests and tried his effort to fix the issues inside the room. His has the best attitude in this hotel.

Had a great stay in this hotel the reception staff are verry friendly and welcoming the rooms are not big but the beds are great and the shower is one of the best in any budget hotel i ever stayed at . The rooms are not really sound proof tho i went to bed at around 1AM and i could still hear annoying sounds from the bar right outside the window untill like 2 .

Be meticulous about the details before you decide to make a reservation online. Particularly, the parking privilege bundled with your booking is not as it seems to be. Always ask (via email or call) to ensure that your booking has a parking privilege. My scenario was that I was shunned to get my personal vehicle at the alley near Central Department which was a public area. The alley was very narrow. Too narrow that my car was hit by the bikes parked in a row near the Department Store. Now, may car is scratched by that accident. No one to be blamed. It was a public area and I hurt my own car by myself.
